What is a CLEP or DSST exam?
CLEP (College Level Examination Program) has been around for over 50 years. DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Test) is a similar exam that used to only be available to military members but is now available to everyone. Although the two types of exams are produced by different organizations, they both work the same in terms of testing out of the college level courses.
These exams are accepted by over 2,900 colleges and universities across the US. There are 34 CLEP exams and 38 DSST exams available covering several subject areas.
Essentially, you can pass one of these exams and eliminate having to take that specific course later. It goes right on your college transcripts as though you spent the full 12 weeks in the class, paid full tuition, and successfully completed all of the homework, tests, and finals- but without actually doing all of that.
The best part about using these exams is that they are going to save you thousands of dollars and help you earn your degree so much faster!

I spent months studying and passing several CLEP and DSST exams.
